šŸŽ€ A Very Asian Guide to Vietnamese Food

āœļø @catnguyenwrites

šŸŽØ@thaikim

Publisher: @gloobooks

Cat Nguyen is a lawyer who saw the lack of Vietnamese representation in books, so she wrote a scrumptious and educational book that deeply dives into hugely diverse Vietnamese food.Ā Even as an adult who regularly eats Vietnamese food, I learned so much from this book, accompanied with a lot of salivating šŸ¤¤.

Fun fact: Cat helps her kids connect to Vietnamese culture through food. They currently help her wash and make rice, and plant khį»• qua | bitter melon, and bĆ | winter melon in their very own garden.Ā Thanks to Cat, you could win a copy of this prized book by entering Summer Giveaway. See details of this bookĀ

šŸŽ€ A cultural handmade doll: Vietnamese boy or girl, Japanese, Korean, Chinese

provided by @vietcanbooks

A common recurring story by Asian adults is growing up with non-representative dolls, and experiencing the negative impact of not having toys that reflect their identity. VietCan Books is doing our small part with providing culturally diverse toys for inclusion and representation.
